This document is known as the MYER one program Terms.
This document sets out the Terms of the MYER one loyalty program provided by Myer.
These Terms will apply to you (the member) on and from your first use of your MYER one card. These Terms will apply to your Additional cardholder (if any) on and from their first use of the Additional card.
In these Terms:
1 Shopping Credit per 1 Dollar spent on an Eligible Transaction made with your Myer Visa Card or Myer Card at a Myer store or via the Website; and
1 Shopping Credit per 1 Dollar spent outside of Myer with your Myer Visa Card (capped at 2000 Shopping Credits per month), excluding any card fees.
the purchase of goods from a Myer store or the Website, excluding purchases of gift cards, purchases made on the eBay Myer store, Give Registry, non-merchandise donations, lay-by payments or credit card payments, delivery charges, Tesla and purchases from certain third party businesses operating within Myer stores, such as cafes, restaurants and Mural Hall;
other transaction types which Myer notifies you of from time to time; and
purchases of eligible goods or services from Affiliates.
1 January – 31 March; MYER one Reward Cards earned in this quarter will be issued in May
1 April – 30 June; MYER one Reward Cards earned in this quarter will be issued in August
1 July – 30 September; MYER one Reward Cards earned in this quarter will be issued in November
1 October – 31 December; MYER one Reward Cards earned in this quarter will be issued in February
Website means www.myer.com.au or www.myerone.com.au as appropriate, or any other site operated by or on behalf of Myer, as notified by Myer from time to time.
Participation in the MYER one program is open to individuals with an Australian residential address and a valid email address.
If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms please do not use your MYER one card and notify Myer, by writing to MYER one, REPLY PAID 2215, Melbourne VIC 8060; or by calling the MYER one Customer Service Team on 13 67 17.
MYER one Shopping Credits will not be awarded until these Terms have become binding on you.
By using your MYER one card you agree to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Notice, as amended from time to time.
MYER one Membership is tiered according to your spend (including the spend of your Additional cardholder, if any) at Myer each Membership Year (excluding Platinum MYER one Members) as follows:
MYER one Members have spent up to $1499.99 at Myer in a Membership Year
Silver MYER one Members have spent between $1500 and $5999.99 at Myer in a Membership Year
Gold MYER one Members have spent $6000 or more at Myer in a Membership Year Platinum MYER one Members are by invitation only.
Membership tier is based on spend at Myer within each membership year. Spend at Affiliates or purchases on your Myer Visa Card outside of Myer are not included in determining your MYER one Membership tier.
All Members will be assigned a Membership number. This number will be used for identification purposes.
Membership cards and Additional cards are not debit, credit or charge cards, are not transferable and remain the property of Myer. Myer may accept or reject any Application Form in its sole discretion.
You must advise Myer of any change of name, address, or other details (including the details of an Additional cardholder) as soon as practicable after the change. Myer is not responsible for any failure by you to notify Myer of the change which may result in the loss of MYER one Reward Cards. Myer may require acceptable proof in relation to any change of details. Changes to address can be made directly via myerone.com.au, via the MYER one App or by calling the MYER one Customer Service Team on 13 67 17.
You may request Myer to issue one Additional card to a nominated person.
To nominate or change an Additional cardholder either visit myerone.com.au, call the MYER one Customer Service Team on 13 67 17 or follow the prompts via the MYER one App.
Your Additional cardholder’s card will be mailed to you, or it can otherwise be accessed by your Additional cardholder when they log into the MYER one App.
The Additional cardholder cannot make any changes to a MYER one program account, except for their own email address and password.
Shopping Credits earned by the Additional cardholder will be allocated to your MYER one program account.
These Terms and the Privacy Notice will apply to the Additional cardholder on their first use of the Additional card. Myer may, from time to time, communicate with the Additional cardholder.
By nominating the Additional cardholder, you agree:
that it is your reasonable belief that the Additional cardholder wishes to participate in the MYER one program;
to ensure that the Additional cardholder reads and complies with these Terms;
to ensure that the Additional cardholder agrees to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Notice; and
you will be liable for any breach of these Terms by the Additional cardholder as if that breach was made by you.
Myer may accept or reject any nomination by you of an Additional cardholder at its sole discretion.
You may terminate an Additional cardholder’s Membership by: writing to MYER one, REPLY PAID 2215, Melbourne, VICTORIA 8060; or calling the MYER one Customer Service Team on 13 67 17.
You (and your Additional cardholder) may earn Standard Shopping Credits on each Eligible Transaction, and Bonus Shopping Credits on Bonus Shopping Credit Days, or as a result of promotional or incentive programs offered by Myer or the MYER one program from time to time.
You (and your Additional cardholder) may earn Additional Shopping Credits on Eligible Transactions with your Myer Card or Myer Visa Card at Myer stores, via myer.com.au and when you use your Myer Visa Card outside Myer, excluding any transaction or card fees.
You (and your Additional cardholder) may earn Shopping Credits when you present your MYER one card on Eligible Transactions with Affiliates. Depending on the Affiliate, the number of Shopping Credits earned on Eligible Transactions will vary. For an up-to-date list of Affiliates and the number of Shopping Credits that you or your Additional cardholder can earn for purchases from an Affiliate, visit myeroneaffiliates.com.au.
Shopping Credits are allocated in relation to each Eligible Transaction and are usually added to your MYER one program account within 30 days from the date of an Eligible Transaction, for transactions from Myer stores and 45 days for transactions from Affiliates. Additional Shopping Credits are allocated in relation to each Eligible Transaction and are usually added to your MYER one program account 30 days from the date of an Eligible Transaction.
Bonus Shopping Credits are allocated in relation to each Eligible Transaction and are usually added to your MYER one program account 60 days from the end of the promotional period. Myer is not responsible for any time delay.
In order to earn Shopping Credits, you or the Additional cardholder must:
present a MYER one card at the point of sale for swiping or scanning, prior to the completion of an Eligible Transaction; or
if the Eligible Transaction takes place in a way which does not allow for the presentation of a MYER one card(e.g. online or by phone), you or the Additional cardholder must provide evidence of your MYER one program Membership (e.g. by providing your Membership number) at the time of the Eligible Transaction.
Members may submit a request for up to two transactions each Membership Year to claim Shopping Credits where a MYER one card was not presented at the time of purchase. A valid Myer receipt must be provided with your request and must be lodged within 30 days of purchase. A request may be made at myerone.com.au
Myer is not obliged to allocate MYER one Shopping Credits, including your request for a claim (as above) in relation to an Eligible Transaction, but may do so at its discretion.
Shopping Credits and your rights under these Terms cannot be sold, transferred or assigned except in accordance with these Terms. Shopping Credits are not property and have no cash or monetary value.
Myer may deduct from your MYER one program account any Shopping Credits that have been credited to your MYER one program account in error or as a result of an error, as well as any Shopping Credits which relate to an Eligible Transaction which has been cancelled, reversed, or which relate to a refunded amount.
You can see the balance of your MYER one program account at any time via the Dashboard by visiting myerone.com.au or via the MYER one App. Myer is not responsible for any time delay.
Shopping Credits are only recognised and available for conversion into a MYER one Reward Card after they are successfully issued to your MYER one program account (and not cancelled, reversed, or where it relates to a refund given).
Shopping Credits will expire 2 years from the date they were issued to your MYER one program account if they are not converted into a MYER one Reward Card.
Shopping Credits may be deducted if Myer reasonably believes that the Shopping Credits were earned:
fraudulently, or Myer reasonably suspects they were earned fraudulently; or
by reason of engaging in inappropriate conduct that undermines the legitimate interests of Myer.
Shopping Credits can only be earned by individual members or Additional cardholders for their own personal shopping. Shopping Credits cannot be earned on purchases of commercial quantities of goods or services, or any purchases which are for a commercial purpose including the resale of goods, as determined by Myer. What will constitute a commercial quantity may depend on the type of product purchased. Myer may review and adjust the allocation of Shopping Credits at any time.
Myer may issue MYER one Reward Cards to you after the end of each Program Quarter depending on the number of Shopping Credits you and your Additional cardholder have earned. The number and value of MYER one Reward Cards issued to you will be calculated by reference to the balance of your MYER one program account at the end of the Program Quarter and the Minimum Shopping Credits. You will receive a MYER one Reward Card with a minimum denomination of $20 corresponding to the Minimum Shopping Credits that you have earned.
MYER one Reward Cards are subject to the Terms that appear on the back of the plastic MYER one Reward Card, by selecting ‘View Conditions of Use’ in the Reward Card screen of the MYER one App, or in the email of a shared Reward Card. Copies of full MYER one Reward Card Terms are available by calling the MYER one Customer Service Team on 13 67 17 or by visiting the website referred to on the back of your plastic MYER one Reward Card or under the ‘Key Conditions of Use’ of an electronic (virtual) Reward Card in the MYER one App.
MYER one Reward Cards may only be redeemed in Myer stores and online at myer.com.au. MYER one Reward Cards cannot be used for purchases made on the eBay Myer store, Gift Card purchases, credit card payments, Give Registry non-merchandise donations and some businesses that do not use the Myer point of sale, including some food and service outlets. MYER one Reward Cards may be used to purchase sale items.
MYER one Reward Cards must be used within 2 years from the issue date. The issue date and expiry date are displayed on the reverse of the MYER one Reward Card (plastic), or by selecting the ‘View Conditions of Use’ link on electronic (virtual) Reward Cards.
MYER one Reward Cards may not be redeemed for cash or exchanged for any other type, denomination, brand or tender. MYER one Reward Cards are not debit, credit or charge cards, are not transferable to another tender type and remain the property of Myer. MYER one Reward Cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards. Myer is not responsible for, and will not replace, lost or stolen MYER one Reward Cards.
You are responsible for the security and use of the MYER one Rewards Card. Myer is not responsible for loss, defaced or stolen MYER one Rewards Cards
A Member may choose to share their virtual Reward Card with any nominated person. The total value of the Reward Card will be accessible between the Member and the nominated person until the value of the Reward Card reaches zero. The Member is responsible for all purchases and use by the nominated person.
Myer will deduct the corresponding number of Shopping Credits from your MYER one Program account to the value of the MYER one Reward Cards issued each Program Quarter.
Allocated MYER one Shopping Credits which have not been converted into a Reward Card will be carried over into the next Program Quarter. The maximum Shopping Credits carried over will not exceed 1,999 Shopping Credits.
To receive a MYER one Reward Card the Member must provide a valid home address and agree to receive direct marketing sent to the given address. Members who have downloaded and logged into the MYER one App will receive electronic (virtual) Reward Cards to their MYER one App. If you no longer wish to receive electronic (virtual) Reward Cards to your MYER one App, you must log out of the app. Deleting the App does not recognise you as logged out.
The current features and Benefits of the MYER one program are described at myerone.com.au. Myer may notify you from time to time of additional websites that set out features or Benefits of the MYER one program.
2 If Myer makes a special MYER one promotion available, Myer will specify this, by notice via mail, email, SMS, Push Notifications (for MYER one App registered users) or in the relevant Myer stores. Terms specific to that promotion may include such details relating (but not limited) to: the eligible purchases; the period during which an eligible purchase must be made for it to be the subject of the special promotion; and the length of the relevant special promotion term.
If Myer invites you or your Additional cardholder to a special event, you and the Additional cardholder may be required to present the relevant MYER one cards to gain admittance or any applicable discount.
Myer may from time to time permit the redemption of Shopping Credits for rewards other than MYER one Reward Cards. Myer will notify you of these rewards.
From time to time Myer may send you offers in conjunction with other loyalty programs or suppliers, or from partners or Affiliates of Myer.
Myer may send you quarterly Progress Summaries. You should check each Progress Summary carefully. If you think there may be an error in your allocation of Shopping Credits you should contact the MYER one Customer Service Team on 13 67 17 or write to: MYER one, REPLY PAID 2215, Melbourne VICTORIA 8060. If your query relates to a Progress Summary, you should contact Myer within 60 days of its receipt. Myer may require you to confirm in writing, with supporting sales receipts or other evidence, the details of any error you believe may have occurred.
You must notify the MYER one Customer Service Team immediately on 13 67 17 if your (or your Additional cardholder) MYER one card is lost or stolen, or your smartphone is lost or stolen, where you are a registered MYER one App user.
Myer may at any time make any changes to the Terms, Rewards or Benefits at its sole discretion, including but not limited to changes to rules governing: Progress Summaries, Dashboards, Program Quarters, Standard Shopping Credits, expiry of Shopping Credits, and awarding of MYER one Reward Cards.
Myer will give you at least 30 days notice of any material changes to these Terms, Rewards or Benefits offered. You agree that you will notify your Additional cardholder (if any) of any material changes to these Terms.
Myer may in its discretion, suspend or terminate the participation by you or your Additional cardholder in the MYER one program, if Myer reasonably believes that you, or an Additional cardholder has:
breached these Terms; or
engaged or may engage in fraudulent conduct, or conduct that is suspected to be fraudulent, in relation to your MYER one program account or in a claim for allocation of Shopping Credits; or
engaged or may engage in inappropriate conduct that undermines the legitimate interests of Myer (e.g. theft from a Myer store).
Where Myer intends to terminate your MYER one program account, Myer will provide you with written notice of such termination and you will have 14 days to rectify the breach (where possible) and/or advise Myer in writing as to why your MYER one program account should not be terminated. Myer will review any response you provide and will advise you of its decision. Myer may, at its discretion, cancel all or any Shopping Credits that have been issued to you if your right to participate in the MYER one program is suspended or terminated.
You may terminate your participation (and your Additional cardholder’s participation) in the MYER one program at any time by giving Myer notice:
by writing to MYER one, REPLY PAID 2215, Melbourne VICTORIA 8060; or
by calling the MYER one Customer Service Team on 13 67 17.
Deleting the MYER one App will not terminate your MYER one program account. On receiving notification of termination from you, your MYER one program account will be recorded on the MYER one database as closed. You will cease to earn Shopping Credits. If your program account has less than the Minimum Shopping Credits on the day of termination, your Shopping Credits will be cancelled or you may transfer the balance of your MYER one program account in accordance with these Terms. If your program account has the Minimum Shopping Credits or more on the day of termination, your Shopping Credits may be converted into a MYER one Reward Card that will be sent to you after the end of that Program Quarter.
The balance of your MYER one program account may be transferred:
to an Additional cardholder if: you request this at the time you terminate your participation in the MYER one Program or you decease; and the Additional cardholder is or becomes a Member of the MYER one program; or
at Myer’s discretion, to another person who is a Member of the MYER one program. You must give written instructions to Myer (including the member’s Membership details) before Myer will make any such transfer. You may choose to become an Additional cardholder linked to the other person’s MYER one program account, upon notice in your written instructions.
Myer may terminate the MYER one program at any time by giving you at least 30 days prior written notice. You agree that you will provide any Additional cardholder with such notice of the termination of the MYER one program. If Myer terminates the MYER one program and you are entitled to a MYER one Reward Card under these Terms, that MYER one Reward Card may be issued after the day of termination. If Myer terminates the MYER one program and the balance of your MYER one program account on the day of termination (after any MYER one Reward Cards to which you may be entitled have been issued) is less than the Minimum Shopping Credits, the remaining Shopping Credits will be cancelled.
You are solely responsible for any government tax, duty or other charge imposed by law in any country in respect of the MYER one program, your participation in the MYER one program, any Shopping Credits earned, MYER one Reward Cards issued or any other transaction within the MYER one program.
Any failure or delay by Myer in exercising its rights under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Any waiver by Myer must be in writing and signed by an authorised officer of Myer.
Except as provided in any law which cannot lawfully be excluded or modified by agreement, Myer does not accept any liability whatsoever including for negligent acts and omissions, with respect to:
the breach of any of these Terms or any term implied by law (including statute) by any person other than Myer;
MYER one Reward Cards, Shopping Credits or any other reward or Benefit;
any death or injury or consequential loss or damage arising from the supply of a MYER one Reward Card, Reward or Benefit;
the loss, theft or destruction of a MYER one Reward Card or any other Benefit;
any delay in replacing a MYER one card or unauthorised use of a MYER one card; and
any failure, delay or inability to provide a MYER one Reward Card, MYER one card or other Benefit to you caused by circumstances beyond its control, including strikes or industrial disputes, acts of God, flood, weather, war or civil disturbance.
Myer may give you notice by advertisement in a newspaper circulating throughout Australia, online, in writing by post or Push Notification (where appropriate) or in a Dashboard. You must notify any Additional cardholder of any notice provided to you in accordance with these Terms.
Where Myer gives you notice by post, you agree that, unless otherwise stated in these Terms, the notice is deemed to have been given to you and your Additional cardholder (as the case may be): on the date of actual receipt of the notice or on the date it would have been delivered in the ordinary course of post, whichever occurs first; provided it is sent to the last known address Myer has for you in connection with the MYER one program.
This Privacy Notice contains important information about the privacy of MYER one Members and Additional cardholders and communications sent by MYER one and Myer Pty Ltd (ABN 83 004 143 239) (Myer). By using your MYER one card, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Notice, as amended from time to time.
The MYER one program is a loyalty program which gives Members the opportunity to receive benefits such as Reward Cards, exclusive offers, special promotions, invitations to events and updates about the latest fashions, homewares, beauty and electrical products. An important part of this is Myer’s ability to communicate with Members. This Privacy Notice explains how Myer collects, uses, discloses and otherwise handles the personal information of MYER one Members and Additional cardholders, and how we communicate with Members.
This Privacy Notice is available on the MYER one website at www.myerone.com.au, or you can request a copy by contacting the MYER one Customer Service Centre. Myer's main Privacy Policy which explains how Myer collects and handles other personal information can be found at www.myer.com.au. Information you provide to Myer may potentially be covered by both this Privacy Notice and the Myer Privacy Policy.
Personal information includes information about an individual who is identified or reasonably identifiable. The personal information we collect about MYER one Members and Additional cardholders includes:
If you don't provide us with the information requested on the MYER one Application Form, or agree to our subsequent collection of your personal information as outlined in this Privacy Notice, we may not be able to enrol you as a Member.
MYER one Members can transact with Myer and its Affiliates anonymously, by paying cash in-store for purchases and not presenting their MYER one card. However, if you don't provide us with your MYER one details, you will not earn Shopping Credits. You can also view the MYER one website and make general phone queries without having to identify yourself, but if you would like to make specific enquiries about your membership we may not be able to assist you without identifying yourself.
Information is automatically collected through your use of the Myer and MYER one websites, Affiliates’ websites and the MYER one App, through cookies. Cookies are small text files that websites or apps may place on your computer or device. Most often, cookies are used to recognise repeat users of websites and remember user preferences. We may collect this information both
anonymously and in relation to user accounts. Cookies are also used to allow the website to track usage behaviour and aggregate data to allow Myer to customise a user's experience on their websites.
For example, when you visit the Myer website or use the MYER one App, we may use cookies to record information including your server address, the date and time of your visit, the pages you viewed, any documents you downloaded and the type of browser and operating system you used. The information is used and disclosed by Myer for purposes including statistical analysis and to assist Myer to improve the functionality and usability of the website and MYER one App.
Similarly, when you use the MYER one App, Myer may periodically collect and use technical data and related information (including technical information about your mobile device and system preferences), to facilitate the provision of software updates, software support and other services related to the MYER one App.
Myer only collects sensitive information (eg health information) where it is reasonably necessary for our functions or activities and either you have consented, or we are required or authorised by law to do so.
The main purposes for which we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information about Members and Additional cardholders are set out below:
to enrol Members and Additional cardholders in the MYER one program
to administer MYER one Memberships, including issuing MYER one cards, administering your account and providing you with Progress Summaries
to provide you with MYER one Shopping Credits, MYER one Reward Cards and Additional MYER one Benefits
to administer your Myer-branded credit card (if applicable)
to contact and communicate to Members and Additional cardholders information about:
the MYER one Program, including Quarterly Mailers and information about our special promotions, events, product launches and other special offers and discounts
other loyalty programs operated within Myer stores
offers from other Myer partners or MYER one Affiliates
performing research and statistical analysis, including for customer satisfaction and product and service improvement purposes. This may include matching information we collect against other information held by third parties. (We may also use and disclose de-identified data about MYER one Members and Additional cardholders for these purposes)
to help Myer tailor existing or develop new products, services or offers, and to help us selectively target promotional offers and opportunities
protecting the security of our stores, staff, customers, suppliers and merchandise (including theft and fraud prevention)
answering queries and resolving complaints
general planning and administration purposes
We may also collect, hold, use and disclose personal information for other purposes explained at the time of collection or which are required or authorised by or under law, and for which you have provided consent.
By providing your address, email address and telephone numbers to Myer, you consent to Myer contacting you for the purposes set out above. We may send this information in a variety of ways, including by mail, email, social media, SMS, MMS, telephone and for those members who have downloaded it, the MYER one App. You can opt out of being contacted by:

advising us if you receive a marketing call that you no longer wish to receive these calls
using the unsubscribe facility that we include in our commercial electronic messages (such as emails and SMS) to opt out of receiving those messages
You can opt out of receiving notifications on the MYER one App if you turn off Push Notifications in the settings.
If you opt out of being sent hardcopy correspondence, we may not be able to provide you with some of the main benefits of the MYER one program, such as Reward Cards. You may wish to consider receiving electronic Reward Cards using the MYER one App.
If you provide us with an email address or phone number, you consent to electronic communication such as notices or reminders being sent to you via that email address or phone number. Your email address must be unique, and for your security we recommend it is only accessible by you.
We may share the personal information of Members and Additional cardholders with third parties where appropriate for the purposes set out above, including:
MYER one Affiliates
the third parties that provide MYER one products and services on our behalf, including the MYER one box office, the MYER Wine Club, and Myer-branded credit card (eg the Myer Visa Card provided by GE Capital Finance Australia ABN 42 008 583 588)
Myer's contracted service providers or partners, including: delivery and shipping providers, overseas and local agents, information technology service providers, venues and event organisers, marketing and communications agencies, research and statistical analysis providers, call centres, hard copy and electronic mail houses, manufacturers and suppliers, external business advisers (such as recruitment advisors, auditors and lawyers), and those third parties who offer Myer-branded products, such as insurance or credit card facilities
Regulatory, investigative or government bodies to comply with laws
We may ask one of these third parties to contact you directly for a specific purpose, and provide us with information collected from you in the course of providing the relevant products or services.
We may disclose personal information to overseas recipients, who are located in places such as Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, the Philippines, the United States of America and other countries or jurisdictions depending on the nature of the services those recipients provide to Myer (for example storing data via a cloud service, or where Myer’s customer relationship management system is hosted on servers located overseas, or where delivery address information for online orders is managed via a third party located overseas).
We hold personal information in a number of ways, including in printed documents, electronic databases and email contact lists. Printed documents may be held at Myer’s head office, or archived in boxes and stored in secure offsite facilities. We take reasonable steps to:
ensure that the personal information that we collect, use and disclose is accurate, up to date and complete and (in the case of use and disclosure) relevant;
protect the personal information that we hold from misuse, interference and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure; and
destroy or permanently de-identify personal information that is no longer needed for purposes permitted by the Australian Privacy Principles.
You can help us keep your information up to date, by letting us know about changes to your details.
The steps we take to secure personal information include website protection measures, security restrictions on access to Myer's computer systems, controlled access to Myer's corporate premises, policies on document storage and security, personnel security and training and workplace policies.
While we endeavour to protect the personal information of users of our website and MYER one App, we cannot guarantee the security of information you disclose online: you disclose that information at your own risk. If you are concerned about sending your information over the internet, you can contact Myer as set out in section 8. You can also help protect your personal information by keeping your account details confidential. If you become aware of any security breach, please let us know as soon as possible.
Links to third party sites that are not operated or controlled by Myer are provided for your convenience. Myer is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of those sites, which are not covered by this Privacy Notice. Third party websites should have their own privacy and security policies, which we encourage you to read before supplying any personal information to them.
Members and Additional cardholders can access, update or correct their MYER one contact information by:
logging into the myerone.com.au website, selecting 'account details' from the menu at the top right of the page
accessing the MYER one App and selecting 'account details' from the menu at the top right of the page
contact the MYER one Customer Service Team 13 67 17. We may ask you to verify your identity first.

All complaints received by the Privacy Officer will be dealt with fairly and in a timely manner considering all the circumstances of the complaint.

Capitalised terms used in this Privacy Notice have the meaning given in the MYER one program Terms. The word "includes" in any form in this Privacy Notice is not a word of limitation.
